Coming from your hotel

The golden building you see on the right side of this page is located on Burg Square—the same square as the Basilica of the Holy Blood and City Hall.

On the map to the left, you'll see a purple star with a yellow dot—that marks the location of the golden building.

That’s where I’ll be waiting to meet you!
I’ll be standing right in front of the building, wearing a red pork pie hat, so I’ll be easy to spot.

Coming from a cruise ship

If you're visiting Bruges by cruise ship, your vessel will dock in Zeebrugge —about 18 km (11.8 miles) from the city.

Usually, taxis are available at the port when a ship arrives.

A one-way ride to or from Bruges costs around €55 per taxi(not per person). To get dropped off as close as possible to your meeting point, ask the driver to take you to the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Burg Square.

Below, you'll find a map and a view showing the short walk from the Crowne Plaza Hotel to the meeting point—just 81 meters (88 yards)away. From the view, simply turn left around the corner to reach the meeting point.

Coming by train

If you're arriving in Bruges by train, getting to the city center is easy—and I’m here to help!

Due to ongoing renovations at the station, there's currently only one main exit. Once you exit, you'll find yourself in a large square.

To reach the city center, take bus number 1 or 2. These stop at platform A1, which is a short walk from the station exit.

To locate platform A1: when you’re facing out from the exit, look in the direction of 11 o’clock—that’s where you'll find the bus platform.
